Here is my Double Page Spread Article

Jack Coggins, a young lad with a big dream.  Finally jack let us meet up with him and get the latest. Previously being in the band “Fools on Parade” Jack has gone his separate ways he has decided to go it alone. So what made you want to leave the band? “Well firstly I was writing music for the band more than myself and my expressions see I like to have more control of what I’m writing and how I pursue it. To be completely honest I have never really been a team player I’m quite selfish and want all the audience to be paying attention to me as I am very passionate and want to share me and my music with the world”
Looking back now what was your favourite gig? “Floral Pavilion, definitely without a doubt it wasn’t the biggest crowd we ever played but they were amazing. It was the first time I was asked for an autograph, my phone number and sex, girls were flying at me left right and centre I was fucking loving it” (scared to see where this is heading). What about your first ever gig tell me what that was like? Well It was with the band and I was quite young it was at a family party nerves kind of took over me and I had a few too many and got quite pissed almost falling off the stage at one point actually, but I held it together and got through it. Just loved it so much just singing and playing guitar felt great, from that day I knew that something special was about to happen and obviously being with the band for two years I was right.
Is it sad looking back at all the gigs you did together and now doing it all alone? “You know what it’s actually not I just think I’ve got amazing memories with the band that I’ll never forget, it’s a once in a lifetime experience to be playing beside my best friends doing what I love and there just so understanding of me doing it alone that it encourages me to do better. It’s a big boost as I’ve always wanted the stage to myself without sounding too much of a self absorbed lad” So have you done many gigs since the split? “Yes actually I’ve been very busy doing all different kind of gigs and low key concerts its fucking amazing especially the O2 academy been playing in their a lot and enjoying it definitely one of my favourite locations” So know there’s no longer any Fools on parade what are you known by? “I’m just going to go plain and simple and use with my name Jack Coggins, mainly because the music I write is mine so in the future when people hear my music I want them to think of me and thinking of that makes me so happy actually gives me chills. You see the band’s name was Fools on Parade because Craig pugh the lead guitarist thought of it from one of The Arctic Monkeys songs which was great, but I thought when people heard the name of the band they would think of The Arctic Monkeys straight away and not us as a new fresh original band.”
As an artist who do you aspire to be? “Personally Miles Kane inspires me the most, he is from the same area as me (Wirral) everything about him from his music down to his style is just excellent he has a way of creating music that no one else can, a talent I would die for and aspire to have one day. I just hope that people will one day look up at me like that. Overall what has been one of the funniest times on stage? “ Well at a pub gig, we played a cover of Girls Aloud- Love Machine and then this crazy woman jumped on stage grabbed the microphone from my hands and began singing, Usually I love girls jumping at my feet but this woman took it one step to far ha-ha”. Where did all this passion for singing and playing guitar begin? “I remember being three or four years old when I began to play guitar and slowly began to sing ever since I haven’t been able to stop”
What are your plans for the future? “Nothing to specific for the time being just going to keep on playing and singing doing the thing I love in gigs especially writing my own material and hopefully soon get noticed and carry on perusing my career in music it’s just my one and only dream and nothing will stop me. What about ten years from now what do you hope to be doing? I want to be huge known worldwide sharing my music with everyone.
